In the 1850 Census, a Catherine Gable, age 12, born in Pa, is also listed with this family. Is she possibly a daughter of Augusta Giebel, by a previous marriage?

"Obituary Mrs. Augusta Hartzell of this place, who went a few weeks ago to Harrisburg to visit her children who reside in that city, died on Tuesday morning, at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Martha Hartzell, 1501 1/2 North Sixth Street, that city. Although her lat illness had been of comparatively short duration, she had been failing in health for several years.
She was the daughter of the late George Lewis Geible of this place, and was born in Germany May 2, 1827, coming to this country with her parents as a child. Here in Newport, she grew to womanhood and here she spent nearly all her long life. Until failing strength incapacitated her, she was one of our most industrious and helpful women-kindhearted and generous, and every ready to render assistance where help was most needed-with tender sympathy to those in sorrow and substantial comfort where pressing material distress or destitution may have stood in need of relief.
Her husband, the late Col. John Hartzell, to whom she was married May 2, 1848, died October 20, 1885. Her father was struck by a Pennsylvania railroad train, at the Market street crossing, many years ago, and was killed.
Her surviving children are W.E. and Rev. C.V. Hartzell, Harrisburg, J.B., Altoona, J.G. this place and Miss Ada M.C.Hartzell, Providence, RI.
Brief funeral services were conducted at the home of Mrs. Martha Hartzell yesterday at 2:30 pm by Rev. SB Evans. The body will be brought to her late home in this place this morning, arriving on Way Passenger at 9:10 o"clock. Services will be conducted at the house, northeast corner, Market and Fourth streets, by her pastor, Rev. J.V. Adams at 2:30 pm. The interment will be in Newport cemetery."
