I, Jonathan Dehaven of the County of Frederick do hereby make this my Last Will and Testament in () now form following, that is to say, 1st I devise that all my just bills and funeral expenses be paid out of my real property. 2nd After the payment of my debts and funeral expenses, I give to my beloved wife Sarah Dehaven, and my son Rolen Dehaven for and during their natural lives, all my () and property and at the death of either of them, then I devise that the survivor shall have the said () and property to do with as they please. Taking it for granted that if there should be any property left, that my other three sons shall receive it. And lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend James Robinson Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any or all of my former Wills or Testaments. In witness thereof, I HAVE HEREUNTO SET MY HAND AND AFFIXED MY SEAL, This 25th day of November in the year 1837.

This Indenture made the 18 of October in the year 1848 Between Joseph T DeHaven and Rebecca his wife of the one part and Nathaniel B Triplett of the other part ___That in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars current money of the United States to him in hand found by the said N B Triplett at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged ___ the said Joseph T DeHaven and Rebecca his wife have granted ____ sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bequeath sell and convey to the said N B Triplett his heirs and assigns a certain tract of parcel of land lying and being on Isaac Creek in Frederick County Virginia and bnounded as follows: Beginning on the south side of a steep hill and north of the said creek at Dehavens corner an old hickory stump on county line ___ ____ hence N58 3/4 W 150 poles and crossing said creek to a ____ on the mouth of a ___ Lights corners, thence ___ Lights S 4 3/4 W 76 poles to a small black oak stump and a small maple marked about 9 feet NW from said stump, thence S22 W25 poles ___ parallel to Adams line S42 E89 poles to stake in a line of Wrights original tract, thence ___ said line N49 1/2 E 94 poles to some marked white oaks Dehaven corners, thence N 24 1/2 E 26 poles crossing the creek to the beginning containing 76 acres more or less, to have and to hold to the said NB Triplett his heirs and assigns forever and the said Joseph T DeHaven for himself and his heirs hereby covenant for himself and his heirs that he is seized of an absolute and indefeasible estate in fee simple in the premises and has good rights to convey the same in manner and forms as aforesaid and that he and his heirs will forever warrant and defend the title and ___ of the said NB Triplett and his heirs and assigns in and to said tract and parcel of land and its appurtenances against the claims and demands of the said Joseph Dehaven and Rebecca his wife and their heirs and all other persons whatsoever. In testimony of which the said Joseph T Dehaven and Rebecca his wife have hereto signed their hands and seals this day and year first written above.

This Indenture made this the __ day of January 1847 between Jehu DeHaven of the one part and Joseph T. DeHaven of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Johu DeHaven for and in consideration of the same of twenty (20) dollars and fifteen cents current money of the United States to him in hand and by the said Joseph T. DeHaven at or before the sealing and deliver of these ____ hereby acknowledge the said Jehu Dehaven hath presented ___ and doth confirm ot the said Joseph T Dehaven his heair and assigns the followingt tract or parcel of land situate on ___ Creek in the County of
frederick and State of Virginia and bounded as follows: Beginning on the south side of a steep hill and north of said Creek at DeHaven Corners, an old hickory stump on county line then with Him N 58 3/4 W 130 poles and crossing said creek to a stone in the mouth of a ___ Lights Corner ___ with Light S 4 3/4 W 76 poles to a small back oak stump and a small maple in a ___ about 4 feet NW from said stump. Thence S 22 W 25 poles, Thence ___ S42 E89 poles to a stake on the line of Wright original tract. Thnce with said line N 49 1/2 E 92 poles to some marked white oak De Haven corner, Thence N 24 1/2 E 21 poles crossing the creek to the beginning, containing seventy six acres more or less, shich said tract was consigned to said Jehu DeHaven and ___ DeHaven by Richard Churchill by George DAwson attorney in fact of said Churchill by deed bearing date the 19 December 1827 and submitted to record in the Clerk's office of said county, said deed coveying said land to both of the parties of this indenture and the said Jehu DeHaven hereby intended to convey and accordingly doth ___ as aforesaid.
