"With sorrow in all our hearts the Leebrick family announces the passing of our dear Autumn Lorene Leebrick who died on March 5th at age 34.

Autumn was an extraordinary person-full of wide-ranging complications and contradictions-and her love was as intensely energetic as her life was short. She was, in fact, a force of nature as friends and family report.

Suffice to say that words fall short here. There will be years of eulogies and tears to follow. For now, she is survived by loving family and friends whose outpouring of support has confirmed the reality that God shows up in the form of caring people in times of crisis. Our family is extremely grateful for this fact today

At the time of her death Autumn was enrolled in the nursing program at LCC. She fought hard to get into that program-and from what we glean from friends and colleagues-she was loved, admired and accepted. That, and the love of her family, is what Autumn valued most in life.

In her honor, please value life deeply, remain curious about things great and small, and love with all your heart and soul.

Until we meet again, dearest Autumn. God bless you in all peace.

Her Life’s Celebration will be Saturday, May 7th at Real Life Church in Goshen at 1 pm."--6 apr 2022, The (Eugene, OR) Register-Guard

"Simon was born about 1728, perhaps in Spartanburg District. The first documentation on Simon Jr. was on 18 Jan 1749 when he and William Rogers were listed as " Chain Carriers" for the Virginia Northern Neck Survey. He lived in Amherst County, Virginia after about 1760 and in 1762, he bought land from his brother Elias. Simon lived on Craig's Creek in 1767. On May 13, 1769 a survey was made by William Cable for Simon Dehart on 146 acres in Madison District, Amherst, VA. and the next year he sold land to his brother Aaron. Simon received a land patent on 1 Aug 1772 on Craig's Creek. Documentation for his death date needs to be located. His wife, Hannah, received a receipt dated Jan. 25, 1777 for beef purchased from her husband, meaning he was deceased by then. Hannah remarried by 1784 to William Wooley in Botetourt, VA and moved with him and several of her children to Hardin County, KY."--Find-a-grave
