WW II Draft registration card listed employer as Krieger Oil Company in Clearwater, California. Dennis Krieger was the son of the founder of Douglas Oil Co of California
"Service Set Tuesday for Oil Leader Funeral service for V. Rue Marichal, 68, of 530 Monrovia Ave., general manager of Douglas Oil Co. of California, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Mottell's & Peek Mortuary, 34d St. and Alamitos Ave. The Rev William H. McCance will officiate.
Marichal died Saturday. He leaves his wife, Elizabeth; son, Robert R,; daughter, Mrs. Robert J. Leebrick Jr.; sister, Mrs. Sam Acton, and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Woodrow G. Kreiger, Kenneth A. Davis, H. Denbigh Ellis, John H. Loomis, Frank W. Odiorne and Harlan G. Stevenson. Interment will be in Sunnyside Memorial Park."--10 Dec 1956, Long Beach (CA) Press-Telegram

"Funeral Plans Pending For Mrs. Sue Marshall Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Sue Marichal Marshall,72, mother of Mrs. Sam Acton, 2003 Hayes, who died at her daughter's home Wednesday morning, were incomplete Wednesday night.
Formerly of Whitesboro, Mrs. Marshall had resided with her daughter 10 months. The body was sent to the Methodist Church at Whitesboro by Hampton & Vaughan Funeral Home.
