"Liebrich, Erika (Rusits)
77, passed away January 12, 2021 at Philip Hulitar Hospice in Providence. Erika was the wife of the late Richard Liebrich.
Born in Daugavpils, Latvia, Erika was a daughter to the late Arvids and Virineja (Jermolajevs) Rusits. The Rusits family came to the U.S. in July 1951. Attending and graduating from local schools, Erika went on to graduate from R.I. College with a bachelor's degree. Shortly thereafter, she began her teaching career in the City of Cranston. Erika also prided herself in being a Homemaker. As well as having a special love for her family, she enjoyed gardening and reading.
Other than her parents and late husband, Erika is predeceased by two sisters, Olga DeNardi and Valerija Kuceris.
Erika is survived by her four children, Mark S. Liebrich and his wife Gail, of Chesterfield, VA, Laura L. Cantwell and her husband James, of North Kingstown, Paul R. Liebrich of Warwick, and Beth A. Francis and her husband Nicholas of North Kingstown. She is also survived by four Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 the Liebrich Family has chosen to remember Erika's life privately. She will be laid to rest with her late husband at R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

"Evelyn Phyllis Leebrick Spalding, 90, of Colonial Beach and formerly of Nelson County, passed away, Monday, December 28, 2020 in Colonial Beach .
Born in Lowesville, July 20, 1930, Mrs. Spalding was the daughter of the late Joseph Alfred Leebrick and Lottie Angus Leebrick. She was retired as a Supervisor with R. R. Donnelly and a member of Lynchburg Moose Lodge #1415.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis F. Spalding, brothers; Earl “Phil” Leebrick, William Leebrick, Tony Leebrick and Joseph Leebrick; and sisters: Virginia Harris and Marian Cash.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Wagoner; granddaughter, Monica Dawn Tompkins and husband, Gary Lee Tompkins, Sr.; great-grandchildren, Gary Lee Tompkins, Jr. and Isabella Grace Tompkins; brother, Glenn Leebrick; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 4, 2020 in Amherst Cemetery . The family will visit from 12:00pm until 2:00 pm, Monday at the funeral home.

"Mason Edward Nichols, Jr., 79, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home Monday, January 11th, 2021.
Mr. Nichols was born August 29th, 1941 to Mason and Alice (Jones) Nichols, Sr. Mason grew up in the Berkley Section of Norfolk. While attending Maury High school, he met the love of his life, his bride of 58 years, Frances (Hamilton). Mason left Maury High School at the age of 17 to serve our country proudly in the U.S. Navy. Following his time in the Navy, Mason began a career with Colonial Pipeline, retiring after 30 years of dedicated service. Hard work came natural to Mason. Throughout his life he would worked two jobs owning a HVAC company to provide the best life he could for his family. Those who knew Mason would say he was willing to offer a hand, helping those less fortunate, sometimes seemed a little gruff and always knowing he was going to have the LAST word or text. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 58 years, Frances Nichols; daughter, Amy Leebrick and husband Al; son, Scott Nichols and wife Staci; six grandchildren: Blake Leebrick, Kyle Nichols, Nicholas Leebrick, Logan Nichols, Christian Nichols, and Kaitlyn Nichols; sister, Carol Hedgepeth and husband Troy and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Mr. Nichols is preceded in death by a son, Eric Nichols.
The family would like to send a Special thank you to the VA Beach Police, VA Beach EMS and VA Beach Fire department for their compassion expressed to our family during a tragic time. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 16th, 2020 at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations. The celebration of life is a “come as you are event”, our father was an everyday man who did not need a suit or tie
