"Robert Lewis Leebrick, infant son of Charles and Minta Leebrick, was born October 16th, 1915, departed this life April 17th, 1916, aged 5 months and 1 day. The little sufferer had just recovered from a spell of scarlet fever and pneumonia and before regaining his vitality fully, was prostrated with measles. He lingered a few days and passed away. He leaves to mourn his loss, Father, Mother, one little sister, his Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Leebrick and Grandfather Lewis, who came to take the remains to Nebraska to be laid to rest in the silent tomb to await the resurrection morn. Oh dear parents and loved ones, weep not as for those without hope. Your little treasure is just over yonder, where there is no more pain, sickness or death. Yes, you will miss him, but look beyond the things of this world to something higher, grander and more noble and in some glad, sweet day, you will clasp little Robert Lewis to your heart again.
Funeral services were held at the home by the writer. A. K. Bone"--27 Apr 1916, The (Atwood KS) Square Deal
