"Rosemary J. Wilson 99 of St. Peters, MO., died Monday, November 20, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 29, 1918 in St. Louis, MO. The daughter of the late Steve and Myrtle Evans.

Loving wife of the late Melvin Wilson. Loving mother and mother in law. Loving sister of the late Thomas J. Evans. Loving grandmother of twelve, great grandmother of eleven and great great grandmother of one.

Mrs. Wilson is to be cremated and buried at Memorial Park Crematory Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.-- Find-a-grave

"WWII--Uncle Tom was in the hospital when his unit was sent out to the "Battle of the Bulge", his whole unit was killed. He had pneumonia or an infected foot, it saved his life.

He was very artistic, he could draw beautifully. He totally enjoyed fishing, boating anything in the water. And his beer. He was very funny and always made you laugh."--Find-a-grave

Marvin Ray Potter, 72, of Beckner Street died Dec. 22, 1996, in a local hospital with family by his side.

Mr. Potter was a retired sheet metal mechanic for the public works department at N.A.S. He was born in Washington, D.C., and was a member of Primitive Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and Korea.

Survivors include his wife, Vashti B. Potter; four daughters, Diana Hamilton of Norfolk, Norma Arnold of Glen Allen, Va., Susie Aldridge and Debbie Lamastra, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, Buddy Potter of Bryans Road, Md., and Ray Potter of Virginia Beach; sister, Edna Mears of Pensacola, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Elder Kenneth Windham. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. "Mollie Hartzell dies in Myrtle Point, Ore. -- A former resident of rossville, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Mollie) Hartzell, 86, of Myrtle Point, Ore., died in a hospital there Wednesday.
She was born at Covington, Ind., August 18, 1874 and came to Rossville when she was nine to make her home with an aunt, Mrs. Jane Primley.
Mrs. Hartzell's husband, E. D. Hartzell, died in January.
Surviving are three sons, O.B. Hartzell and Allyn Hartzell of Topeka; Clyde Hartzell of Ridgecrest, California; four daughters, Mrs. Allene Shenk of Falls Church, Va., Mrs. Edna May Lieht of Mayer, Ariz., Mrs. Gladys Evans of Myrtle Point, and Mrs. Mary Bailey of Littleton, Colo.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services and burial will be at Myrtle Point.
Mrs. Hartzell fell, seriously injuring her knee and entered the hospital on May 9. Various complications in her general health developed causing her death on June 21. Mrs. Allene Shenk of Falls Church, Va., was with Mrs. Gladys Evans of Myrtle Point, Ore., the last two weeks to help care for their mother."--28 Jun 1961

"Simon Alexson Retired military -- Simon K. Alexson of Fairfield, a retired Navy veteran,died Tuesday, May 14, 1996, at the home of his daughter in Wylie.
Mr. Alexson, a former resident of Granbury, was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Alexson, and two sons, Jimmy Alexson and Jeffery Alexson.
Survivors include three sons, Charles A. Alexcon of Waianae, Hawaii, Richard S. Alexson of Granbury and Scorr J. Alexson of Fort Worth; two daughters, Jacqueline S. Hardison of Memphis, Tenn. and Christine A. Miles of Wylie; and eight grandchildren,
A memorial service was held at Shiloh Baptist Church in Wylie. Cremated remains will be delivered to the Navy for burial at sea."--29 Jun 1996, Hood County (TX) News
