"Son of John Wolford and Mary Jane Lapsley.
He married Elizabeth Coffey who died in Texas where her son Fountain and son Dr. Wm Franklin Wolford, memorial 10457616 lived. Son Willis died in Texas, memorial 14685056. Mary Jane died in De Kalb County, Missouri. Other children were Julia Ann and Lucretia. It looks like Betsy moved the children to Collins County, Texas. Here is an article that is from the Adair County News 1900 edition showing who all left here and migrated to the small town of Anna, the Wolfords amongst them."--Find-a-grave

"Commodore Perry Coy was the son of Matthew Davis Coy and Esther Voiles. His siblings were Francis Marion Coy, Sarah Anne (Coy) Duncan Box, Eliza Jane (Coy) Van Buskirk, John J. Coy, Robert Benton Coy and Mary Elizabeth (Coy) Vanderford.
Commodore Perry married Axie Ann Vanderford on 24 Jan 1867 in Polk County Missouri. Their children were John Ward Coy, Perry Wesley Coy, Matthewe Edgar Coy, Helen Coy, Lilla Gertrude (Coy) Russell, Lula Belle (Coy) Fulwiler, Elborne Elworth Coy, and William Wilburn Coy."--Find-a-grave

"A. Lincoln Coy Dies; Burial At Keota Abraham Lincoln Coy, 72, died at his home, 115 Houston in Muskogee, early Monday. Born in Missouri, Coyy came to Oklahoma about 40 years ago. He was a memmber of the Masonic Lodge at Keota where he lived before coming to Muskogee 12 years ago. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He retired in 1953 from his work with Oklahoma Natural Gas Company.
Funeral services ere held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of Christ at Keota with Jack Huff officiating.
Burial was in Keota Cemetery under direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler.
Survivors include his widow, Alice of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Freda Holems of Dumas, five half-brothers, Hobart Coy of Keota, George Coy of Porum, Everett Coy of Oklahoma City, Benton Coy of Minco and Ted Coy of Haskell."--6 Oct 1960, Haskell (OK) News

"On 9 January 1806, Elisha Patterson married Lucy Hubbard. They had 14 children and 93 grandchildren. The marriage records can be found at City Hall, St. Louis, Missouri: Book 1, pp. 80, 150; Book 5, p. 354; Book 6, pp. 74, 321; Book 7, pp. 7, 74; Book 11, p. 310. MARRIAGE: Their marriage was probably the first Protestant Christian marriage performed in this territory by the Rev. John Clark (who is also buried in Cold Water Cemetery). Elisha and Lucy were destined to be important and influential members of the first Methodist Society west of the Mississippi River. Their home was the preaching place until the church house was built in approximately 1832-1833. MILITARY: Elisha Patterson served in the War of 1812.
