"Funeral services for Samuel M. Mckee Hartzell, age 59, of Renfrew R.D.2 who died at 6:00 o'clock Monday morning in the Allegheny General Hospital, following an accident Friday morning at Allison Park, will be held from the family residence, Renfrew R.D.2, at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be held in the Brownsdale Cemetery.

"Dorothy E. Hartzell, 80, Okeechobee
She died Thursday in Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio.
Born in Grove City, Pa., she moved to Okeechobee in 1985. She was a homemaker and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Okeechobee .
Survivors include her son, Carl of Warren, Ohio; a sister; a brother; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

"LEONARD ARLINGTON PARROT MINNEAPOLIS--A private family service will be held for Leonard A. Parrot, 64, Minneapolis, at 2 pm Saturday at Haley-Muller funeral home, Minneapolis, The Rev. Merlin Norman officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery, Minneapolis.
Mr. Parrot died Tuesday at Asbury hospital, Salina. He was born May 5, 1912, in Crawford county, Ill. Mr. Parrot was a former oil field employee.
Surviving are the widow, Jessie, of the home; 2 daughters, Mrs. Joquita Gardner, Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Joyce Walker, Jamesville, Ill., and 22 grandchildren.

"Al Gardner, age 81, of Moran, Kansas passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at his home. Albertus Wilson Gardner was born June 24, 1935 at Bucyrus, Missouri, the son of Alfred and Gladys (McCord) Gardner. He was raised on a farm near Houston, Missouri where he attended area schools until the 10th grade. Al was an Air Force veteran, serving in France during the Korean War. On August 24, 1957 he married Deanna Tomlinson at Miami, Oklahoma. They raised six children, Patricia Kay, Robert Curtis, Dorvan Eugene “Gene”, Michael Leroy, Richard Dewayne, and Dennis Wayne.
Al worked several jobs throughout his lifetime, including working at Dempsey Aerial Spraying of Rantoul, Kansas, farming, driving a semi for several years, and then working as a mechanic for McAdam Construction until his retirement. In his retirement years Al was not one to set still, he helped Paul Alumbaugh install diesel engines; he also worked on lawn mowers and mowed yards around the Moran area.
He was baptized into the First Baptist Church at Houston, Missouri. He was a member of the Moran Masonic Lodge #256, serving as Past Master and Past District Deputy. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #385. Al loved to fish, he also enjoyed trap shooting. He was a regular at Chancey’s for morning coffee where he enjoyed the atmosphere and some B.S. Did we mention that he loved to fish? Al made two fishing trips to Alaska, one with his brother, Elden, and one with Deana and Austin. He also made several trips to Lake Texoma with family members to fish with their guide “Ballerina” Bob.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Patty on March 26, 2008; a sister, Margaret Gentry; and a brother, Elden Gardner. Al is survived by his wife, Deana and great-granddaughter, Austin of the home; five sons, Bob and wife, Jeanne of Lowell, Arkansas, Gene and wife, Nancy of Moran, Mike and wife, Debbie of Gardner, Kansas, Rick and wife, Gloria of Moran, Dennis and wife, Candy of Mildred, Kansas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Moran. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Mildred. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Masonic Scholarship Fund of Moran."--Find-a-grave
