"Eleanor Freeman of Shoreline Washington passed away amidst her loving family on Monday, July 28, 2008 at the age of 82. A Washington State resident her entire life, Eleanor was born in Tonasket on March 20, 1926. She married George O. Freeman of Seattle on November 27, 1946, and they raised their family in the Shoreline area. Eleanor was a homemaker, an avid gardner, a proud mom, grandmother & aunt. A family friend said it well by saying: My memory of her is a fun loving, quick to laugh, easy going mom makin' jokes and makin' cookies and somehow making the friends of her kids feel comfortable in her house. That's such a fine thing.
She had a sharp sense of humor and strong sense of family and community. She enjoyed the outdoors, music, friends, walking and volunteering for the local elementary school and the Edmonds Senior Center. She is preceeded in death by her husband George and her arents, Albert and Pearl George. She is survived by her children: Michael Freeman of Vaughn, Wa; Carol Liebrich (husband Dave), Richard Freeman and Karen Freeman (all of Seattle, WA); and her grandchildren: Scott Meihn and Matthew and Amanda Liebrich.
