She was active in the Muskogee Community during her life serving on a number of Boards including, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) as a founding member, Salivation Army, Habitat for Humanity, Muskogee Little Theatre, Muskogee Red Cross (when the building was built). She volunteered her time as well as her talents to organizations she believed improved the lives and quality of life in Muskogee. She was a true philanthropist, giving money anonymously when possible to individuals, organizations locally, nationally and worldwide. Tennis was just one of the activities she loved and played for 30 years in a number of doubles groups. She was a member of Muskogee Country Club where she played tennis as well as Spaulding Park. Her hobbies were as varied as she was as a person and included dollhouse construction and cake decorating. She was an artist herself as well as a collector of art. She was currently a member of the Muskogee Art Guild. She most recently had gone skydiving as it was on her list of things to do. Ms. Yaffe gradated from Classen High School in Oklahoma City where she was born and attended the University of Oklahoma. Later she graduated from Northeastern State University and the University of Tulsa where she received her Juries Doctorate in Law. She was active in the Bond, Matthews, Brennan & Bonds law firm in Muskogee. Professionally she was a member of the Muskogee Chapter of the American Bar Association and before her illness served a two-year term on the Oklahoma Bar Association's Ethics Council. She was also President of Land Real Estate, Inc., a family owned commercial real estate business. Those who know her and loved her will remember her questioning nature and curiosity. She always pursued her interests with enthusiasm and wanted to know everything about everything. She especially loved trips to Las Vegas with her tennis group and when tennis was no longer possible still took trips to Las Vegas just to be with friends and family. The weeds in her flowerbeds were her enemy and she attacked them regularly. Recently she had become part owner in a racehorse and proudly displayed the finish line shots of ''Tater Tutt.'' These were displayed along with the trophies her youngest grandchildren won for academics in school. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to your favorite charity in her memory. Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M.
