"Obsequies Over Remains of Mrs. Rapp
At Vermont Street M. E. Church
Largely Attended.
The funeral services of the late Mrs. Mary C. Rapp, of 1120 North Fifth street, who died at the Blessing hospital Saturday morning as the result of injuries received in a fall from a moving street car the week before, were held at the Vermont street M. E. church at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, Rev. A. L. Caseley, officiating.
During the services hymns were sung by a quartet composed of Mrs. Clark, Miss Turner, Mr. Dunn and Mr. Burroughs. Mrs. Haud Wells-Dickson had charge of the music.
The Women's Relief Corps, of which the deceased was a member, attended the funeral in a body, while the W. C. T. U., the Women's Foreign Missions and the Ladies' Social Union of the Vermont street M. E. church were also well represented.
The following out of town relatives were present at the services: two sons, John J. Rapp, of Burlington, Vermont, and Arthur Rapp, of Indianapolis, Ind., and one daughter, Mrs. Florence Miller, of Lancaster, Mo., John Rapp of Dodge City, Ia., the husband of the deceased was also present.
The pall bearers were as follows: William T. Dwire, H. B. Dines, M. S. Orr, D. Long, J. W. Lemley and C. H. Allard. The remains were sent to Moline, Ill., for burial at an early hour yesterday morning, it being the former home of the deceased."--Find-a-Grave
