"Teenagers Rob Station WHITE RIVER (UPI) -- Two teenaged boys held up the Gillen Service Station here this morning, but were caught less than one hour later at a roadblock.
Ken Murphy and Les Koff, about 16 and 18, former Valentine, Neb., residents were being returned here to face charges
Matt Gillen,who with his mother, Mrs. Katherine Gillen, said one of t hem walked in about 7:50 carrying a revolver. He escaped with $55.

"Mrs. Bernard Hanten PLATTE, S.D.--Serviced will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church for Mrs. Bernard Hanten, 80, who died Sunday in a Yankton Hospital.
Marie Leibrich was born March 4, 1896, at White Lake. She married Bernard Hanten at White Lake on Oct. 26, 1920. They lived in White Lake and moved to Platte in 1936 where they lived on a farm.
Survivors include the widower, four daughters, Eleanor Hanten, Platte; Mrs. Gene Cully, Sioux City; Mrs. Donald Moore, Gayville, and Mrs. Leon Kleinschmit, Omaha; four sons, Charles, Florissant, Mo.; the Rev Vernon Hanten, Loretto, Pa.; Arnold, Platte, and Joseph, Yankton; a sister, Mrs. Katherine Gillen, White River; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren."--14 Jul 1976, (Sioux Falls SD) Argus-Leader

"Miss Mary Leebrick of Burlington, Iowa, arrived today to spend the summer with her mother, Mrs. Mary Leebrick."--20 Jun 1908, Covina (CA) Argus
Mary Leebrick. Graveside burial services will be held at Aspen Grove cemetery at 3 p.m. Tuesday for Mary Gertrude (Mollie) Leebrick, 93, who died July 26 at San Diego, Calif. Rev. Paul Pittman will officiate.
She was born in Burlington Aug. 17, 1867, the daughter of John and Eliza Pierson Leebrick, and was connected with Burlington public schools for several years. She was principal at Prospect Hill until she retired. She moved to California in 1952 to be with her uncle, James Leebrick.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Fleming, Mrs. Rachael Pearce and Mrs. Ruth Feist; three brothers, Dr. Karl C., Samuel A, and J. Paul Leebrick; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Arthur Leebrick.
She was a member of First Congregational church of Burlington, Chapter P of PEO, the National Assn. of Writers Club, Kings Daughters and a former member of the YWCA board in Burlington.
Funeral services were held at the chapel of Bonham Mortuary in San Diego, California.
Mollie wrote a book of poems as well as music. Music included a song "Iowa" copyrighted by Mollie in 1924.
