Mary A. Gelhar Leebrick's death notice was published in the Washington Post on January 20, 1960.

The notice said: On Sunday, January 20, 1960, Mary A. Leebrick of 242 Eye Street SW, Washington, DC, beloved wife of Joseph Leebrick, and devoted mother of Arthur, Margaret, Joseph Jr., and Martha Ann Leebrick, daughter of Margaret Linker, sister of Martha Korab. Friends may call at Rinaldi Funeral Home 816 H Street NE, Washington, DC. Requiem mass at St. Dominicks Catholic Church, 6th and E Street SW, on Thursday, January 21 at 9 AM,. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.

1939 Greenwich (CT) directory lists him as a lather. Is this the same guy? Leibrock, with wife Mae?

"ROBERT G. LEEBRICK -- ELKTON, April 27.--Robert Guy Leebrick. 45, chemist and traveler, died at noon yesterday at Elkton at the home of his mother, Mrs. James E. Leebrick, where he had arrived a week ago from his home in Baltimore. Mr. Leebrick had been in ill health for some time and he came to his native Elkton with the hope of improving his condition.

He was graduated from Elkton High School and the University and for some years attained note as a chemist with the Dupont interests at Haskell, N. J.: Old Hickory, Tenn.; Nitro, W. Va and in Chile.

Mr. Leebrick retired as a chemist ten years ago and entered business in Baltimore where he since had made his home. He was an extensive traveler, having visited every state in the Union, Europe and South America.

Besides his mother, he is survived by two children, Mrs. Robert Saunders, of Waynesboro and Jack Leebrick, of Elkton; a brother, J. Harry Leebrick, of Philadelphia and two sisters, Mrs. L. H. Lewis, of Elkton and Mrs. F. Gray Higley, of Cleveland.

Funeral services will be held from the home of Mrs. James Leebrick Sunday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. Bollng Hobson, of the Presbyterian Church, officiating. Pallbearers will be: G. V. Sarah Donovan Leebrick, "Sally", a resident of Annapolis for 40 years and previously of Boston, Mass., died January 18 at Ginger Cove in Annapolis.

She was born April 20, 1921, in Cambridge, Mass., to the late Walter C. and Isabel Day Willwerth, and graduated from Somerville High School, Somerville, Mass. in 1939. Afterward, she graduated from Manchester Business School in Manchester, Mass. She was employed with the accounting office at the Boston Naval Shipyard from 1941 to 1945. She later traveled to the Canal Zone in Panama, where she and her first husband lived from 1946 to 1950.

In 1950, she returned to work for the U.S. Department of State in Boston, Mass. before moving to the Washington, D.C. area in 1957 to work for the U.S. National Geodetic Survey as a pay reimbursement officer. After raising three children, she worked as a realtor with the Charles Steffey Co. in Annapolis for five years beginning in 1972, where she was named Million Dollar Sales agent.

Most recently, she had been a member of St. Mary's Parish in Annapolis, and volunteered as a 4-H Leader and for Hospice. A fierce competitor at Cribbage and Scrabble, Sally enjoyed playing the piano as a volunteer with Ginger Cove and for family and friends. She also liked to solve crossword puzzles, and to read, cook, and spend time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Paul Leebrick Jr., whom she married in 1991 and who died in 1998; former husband, John P. Donovan, whom she married in 1945 and who died in 1990; and four brothers, Walter Willwerth, Edward Willwerth, Charles Willwerth and Robert Willwerth.

She is survived by three daughters, Anne Sachs of Berkeley, Calif., Mary Donovan of Easton and Martha Donovan of Annapolis; two siblings, Joseph Willwerth of Danvers, Mass. and Naples, Fla., and Natalie Winters of Clinton and Tarpon Springs, Fla.; five grandchildren, Taylor Kincaide of Escanaba, Mich., Alexander Berman of Easton, Madeline Williams of Boston, Mass., and Luke and Melanie Williams, both of Annapolis; and one great-granddaughter, Savannah Kincaide of Escanaba, Mich.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 23 at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc., 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 24 in the funeral home chapel. Interment private.
