Dora Eunice (Doe) Leebrick died September 17, 2012, at The Summit in Lynchburg. She was born February 6, 1921, in Lynchburg. She was the daughter of the late Bland Washington Leebrick of Lynchburg and the late Sarah Eunice White Leebrick of Nelson County. She was preceded in death by three brothers, William Leebrick, Bland Leebrick, and Reams Leebrick. Miss Leebrick is survived by three nephews: John Page Leebrick and Thomas Sekin Leebrick (wife, B.J.) of Lynchburg, and The Rev. Bland Allen Leebrick, Jr. (wife, Katherine) of Reidsville, North Carolina; two nieces: Gloria Anne Leebrick Keesee of Columbia, Maryland, and Deborah Maria Leebrick Isley (husband, Bill) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; also, four great nieces: Melinda Whitfield, Katie Doyle, Elizabeth Leebrick, and Rhiannon Leebrick Johnson; three great-nephews: Alan Keesee, Brandon Leebrick, and Ben Isley; three great-great-nieces: Maebel Clay Leebrick Johnson, Payton Keesee, and Layne Keesee. Miss Leebrick graduated from E. C. Glass High School and was a long time legal secretary to the late John L. Abbot, Esquire, and retired from the Lynchburg Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. She was a member of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church where she served as organist for many years. The family wishes to thank the staff at The Summit for the tender, loving, and compassionate care given to our Aunt. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, September 20, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery in Lynchburg with The Reverend Bland Allen Leebrick, Jr. officiating.

Lois W. Leebrick passed away May 22 at La Hacienda/La Posada, Green Valley, AZ, after an extended illness. Lois was born in Brooklyn, NY, and graduated from Cazenovia Seminary in Cazenovia, NY. She received a BS degree from Syracuse University, where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. Lois was a member of the Eastern Star and DAR societies and the Mayflower Society. She was a longtime member and supporter of Perryville United Methodist Church. Lois was a devoted mother and grandmother, cherished by family and friends for her sense of humor, ready smile and laughter. She worked as a laboratory technicican in New York City; and after she and Karl were married in 1943, she worked in the military hospital lab where they were stationed. After her children were grown, she pursued her profession in Albany, NY. A 26-year resident of Green Valley, AZ, she loved to sing and to dance and was a member of the Green Valley Squares and Los Balaideros Dance Club. Her family and friends in New York and Green Valley will miss her cheerful nature. She is survived by her husband, Karl Leebrick of Green Valley; her son, Gilbert Leebrick (Jackie) of Washington, DC; her daughter, Beryl Westfall (Craig) of Cazenovia, NY; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. A celebration of her life will be held at Perryville United Methodist Church in Perryville, NY, at 1:30 p.m. August 4, with a time of fellowship following in the church annex. Donations may be made in her memory to Perryville United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, in care of Sue Snyder, 3005 Perryville Rd., Canastota, NY 13032
