Miss Ruth Grau invited a bevy of girl friends to her home on North F street last evening for a social gathering which turned out to be of more than usual interest. Contests were offered for entertainment and pretty prises were won by Miss Katherine Stitzinger and Miss Augusta Liebrich. The girls began to smell a mouse when they noticed the elaborate tulle bows with which the gag of peanuts given to Miss Betty Upton as a consolation price, was tied. In among the nuts were a lot of jumbled letters which a little patience soon formed into the names "Emmeline and Luther." Thus was the pretty secret cleverly revealed in announcing the engagement of Emmeline Decker, the attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoel and Luther Liebrich son of Mr. and Mrs. August Liebrich. The date of their marriage is set for July 24.
