Records of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster show the marriage of Nicolaus and Catharin as follows: Married 25 Jul 1769, by authority of a license dated July the 25th, 1769, together in holy Matrimony Nicolaus Liberick of Raphy township in the County of Lancaster, and Catherine Hans of ___ township in the same County, Spinster. Perhaps there is some mix up in the last names of Nicholas and his father.

Referred to as wife of Daniel Briligam in estate settlement papers. They were married at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster "after proclamation". That term means that the couple's intent to be married was announced before the congregation three weeks in a row prior to the marriage. This was done to allow any person to come forward who knew of any reason why they shouldn't be married.

Court action taken this date as follows: Mary Urban, late Mary Leebrick, minor daughter of Nicholas Leebrick late of Rapho Township deceased, being above the age of fourteen, comes into Court and chooses her husband Jacob Urban of the Borough of Lancaster, as her Guardian. The Court approve of and appoint the said Jacob Urban her Guardian accordingly.

The following wedding announcement was published 31 Oct 1878 in the Burlington Hawkeye: "The wedding bells rang out merrily Thursday morning at the residence of Mr. Samuel Leebrick, on West Hill, the occasion being the marriage of his daughter Miss Lizzie Leebrick to Mr. B. F. Von Behren, on Indiana. Rev. C. B. C.ark performed the ceremony, after which the bride and bridegroom departed for their new home in Indiana on the ten o'clock train. May peace and happiness go with them, and may many years of prosperity and usefulness crown their lives in their distant home".
