He was a Freeman in Kings Town in 1712. His inventory on 29 Aug 1728 showed a value of 171 pounds 11 shillings, 8 pence. Among the items were wearing apparel and a sword (7 pounds, 5 shillings), wollen wheel, linen wheel, pewter, silver cup, riding horse, 2 mares, colt, cows and other cattle, 30 sheep, 12 lambs, 7 swine etc. His will was finally "proved" on jun 14 1754.

She went in from working out side and laid down and died in her sleep. Funeral services were conducted at Mt. Olive Church near the place of her 70 years residence, on Wednesday at 2 o'clock p.m. By Rev. A.W. Tandy. She was survived by Joseph McKissick of N. Yakima, Wash., Mrs. Susan McMillian of Shelby, Neb., Mrs. Elizabeth Jennings of Riverton, Howard McKissick of Hamburg, 43 Grand Children, 74 Great Grand Children, and 5 Great Great Grand Children.
