Francis probably came to this country in the 1630's and settled in Cambridge before 1648 when he married there. He owned property in Cambridge near the Plains, Charlestown near the Menetonne River, near Dendruck Meadow, also in Medford and Lexington. His house stood on the line between Lexington and Cambridge. Both Isabel and Francis signed a petition in favor of an old woman charged with being a witch He served in the King Phillip's War, was a Selectman and a Constable in 1668 and 1682.
