Page 305 of the Nelson County Order Book 1835-1840, The court unanimously rejects the petition of Frederick Leebrick to retail sparkling liquors at this store or grocery in the county.
Mentioned in father's probate proceedings, as being under 21 years of age. Listed in father's probate hearing documents as receiving payments December 31, 1840 and December 31, 1844.
"In the name of God, amen: I Fredrich Leibrick, being sound in mind and body but knowing the certainty of death do make this my last will and testament, ..all others. 1st It is my will that at my death all my just debts be paid. 2nd, I give and devise to my wife Margaret Ann and my children Mary Virginia, Martha Paulina and Thomas William Liebrick, and her child Charles Cox all the property that I shall die possessed of, and foremost and mixed in equal shares of one fifth each except that I give to my wife in addition to her share, a ... mare, called Blaze, purchased with her money. 3rd, I have heretofore given to my other children Saun? Daniel Liebrick, John Henry Liebrick and Mildred A Southard and to my Step daughter Mildren Ann ... all that I can give them. 4th My Executor shall as soon as convenient after my death collect up and sell all of my personal property not needed for the use of the family and at the end of ... month after my death of sooner if requested by my wife, he shall sell at public or private sale as he shall deem best and divide the proceeds among my legatees as above directed. 5th Such personal property and provisions on hand as shall be necessary for the use of my wife and other legatees while they remain at the homestead and until the final sale, shall be delivered to my wife to be used or consumed as she may wish or deem best for their mutual benefit. 6th at any time after my wife's death, whether twelve months have expired or not, my Executor may sell off all my property and divide the Same as above directed. 7th I hereby appoint this Chester Davis my Executor and request him to carry out the provisions of my will. "Know all men by these Presents that I Margaret A Leibrick, Widow of Fredrick Liebrick, deceased do hereby refuse to accept the provisions made for me in and by the Will of said Husband Frederick Liebrick and do hereby reject the provisions made for me as widow by said will. "I Samuel C Migor Public Administrator of Howard County Missouri so hereby give notice that by virtue of my said office and in accordance with the Statutes in such cases ...I on this 11th day of March 1879 have taken charge of the Estate of Frederick Liebrick deceased with the Will am moved to administer on the Said estate.
All persons having claims against Said estate are required to exhibit them for allowance of the Administration within one year after the date aforesaid or they may be prevented from having benefit of Said estate, and if Such claims be not exhibited within two years from the above date, as aforesaid, they will be forever barred.
