I wonder if Rebecca could have been a relative of James Imlay, with whom St. Clair Chrissinger established the boatyard in California, Pa.? It is probably not a coincidence that they have the same last names. A number of Imlay families lived in Washington county for a few years, on their way from New Jersey to Ohio. See book "The Imlay Family" by Hugh and Nell Imlay. However, that book doesn't show any of them hanging around after 1835.
